Since that time, Neely, Craig & Walton, LLP has evolved into one of the premier independent insurance agencies in Texas with a staff of 30 professionals in 4 offices.

Steve Walton, CIC After beginning a career in the insurance industry as an adjuster for Farmers Insurance Group, Stephen (Steve) A. Walton continued his successful track record with Insurance Specialists in 1981 and then with Neely, Craig and Walton, L.L.P. upon the merger of the two firms in January 1992. He is a partner of NCW specializing in nursing home and general commercial insurance. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from the University of Texas in 1971. Walton is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and has worked for Motors Insurance Corporation in addition to Farmers Insurance. Walton served as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Amarillo in 1991. He is currently a member of Hillside Christian Church and the Amarillo Country Club. Jeff Neely III, CIC, CPCU Jeff M. Neely III joined the company in September 1980. He is a partner of Neely, Craig & Walton, L.L.P. who specializes in medical malpractice, contractors and auto salvage insurance. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas Tech University in 1980 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Neely is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a recipient of the Professional Insurance Person Award in 1999-2000. He is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents and served as the Amarillo Chapter President in 1990. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Amarillo and the Buffalo Flying Club. Kimberly Dryden, CIC Kimberly Dryden joined Insurance Specialists in 1988 prior to its merger with the firm. She is a partner of Neely, Craig & Walton, L.L.P. who specializes in general commercial insurance, agricultural business and insurance for health care providers. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from the University of Texas. Dryden is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and previously was in the sales department of Employers Insurance of Texas. She is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas, serves on the Board of Directors of the Panhandle Association of Insurance Agents, and is Chairman of America First Insurance Advisory Council. She also has participated in Leadership Amarillo/Canyon and Leadership Texas, has served on numerous civic boards, and is current Secretary for the Amarillo Museum of Art Executive Board of Trustees. Dryden is honored to have served on the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy from 1999-2005, appointed by then-Governor George W. Bush. She is currently serving on The Women’s Bureau, U.S. Department of Labor, and Women Impacting Public Policy, through appointments by U.S. President George W. Bush. Kimberly Dryden, CIC |
